Chocolate Maker History

Our chocolates are made from the cocoa beans processed at MCFCS’ fermentary and are of high quality, consistent with the calibre of the beans which are produced under strict quality control measures practised by those at the fermentary. The flavour profile of the beans described above, carries into the chocolates, thus affording the chocolate lover an unforgettable delicious experience. Seven (7) different flavours are produced, each named after a village from which the cocoa beans originate. An inside wrapper vignette gives an interesting insight into each village. These delicious chocolates can be described as tree to bar, single domain, artisanal chocolate bars and are as follows, (with the villages highlighted): - Gran Couva Gold – 70% Dark Chocolate - Brasso Bold – 70% Dark with Nibs - La Vega Vibe – 80% Dark - Los Atajos Leche – Milk Chocolate - Mamoral Mocha – Milk Chocolate flavoured with Coffee - Tortuga White Light – White Chocolate with Nibs - Flanagin Fire – White Chocolate with Cayenne Pepper The fruity flavours are pronounced in Our Dark Chocolates with no bitter aftertaste, the richness of our Milks and Mochas will ‘wow’ your palette, and our White Chocolates are deliciously and uniquely MCF.
